HS Varsity athletes (including new HS rowers who moved up from the MS team) are invited to join us on Saturday for the first-ever Saturday clinic with Ben Davison! This opportunity was only recently made available due to a break in Ben's schedule.

THIS WILL REPLACE our scheduled Saturday practice so if you're not attending the seminar, you will not have practice but we HIGHLY encourage all HS rowers to attend this very special opportunity to learn from one of the best rowers in the nation. Coaches Terry and Andrew will be in attendance.

This clinic will include:

  • "What it takes" discussion for college and elite rowing
  • Erg work
  • 2 hours of on-the-water work
  • Q&A with Ben

The cost for this clinic is $20/rower and includes lunch at Moss Park!  Rowers should bring a refillable water bottle.

For those who aren't yet familiar with Ben, in addition to being Coach Terry's youngest son, Ben just finished a year of training, focused on making the US National and Under 23 teams.

In 2013 he was selected to row in the junior mens 4x at the Junior World Championships in Lithuania.

In 2014 Ben competed in the mens 1x at the U23 World Championships in Italy then at the Junior World Championships in Hamburg, Germany.

In the fall 2014 he began his freshman year at the University of Washington. Ben rowed in the Freshman 8+ for most of the year and helped the team on their way to a clean sweep of the IRA and the programs 5th national championship in a row. Go Dawgs.

In the summer of 2015 Ben was part of the SBTC program at Craftsbury and competed at the U23 World Championships in Bulgaria in the mens 1x.

Ben took the 2015-2016 school year to train at Craftsbury to make his Olympic dream happen.

In 2016 Ben stroked the USA 4x that finished 4th (out of qualifying) in Switzerland.  He finished his summer racing season as the USA Under 23 1x, finishing 7th in the world!

He will return to Washington this fall!
